#12 Bread and Pencils

In what’s perhaps the most useless and perhaps predictable piece of information which has absolutely no use beyond a pub trivia night, the butterfly was originally called the “flutterby”.
In a totally inexplicable phenomenon, there are more fake flamingoes in existence than actual flamingoes.
I know that the time will come one day soon where pencils have become totally obsolete but for the time being at least, we’re familiar with the idea of using an eraser to rub out a mistake you make with a pencil. However, before they were invented (the eraser), people actually used bread to wipe away mistakes. I know it seems like a waste of bread, but can you put a dollar sign on information and education?!! (yeah, that question is meant to be rhetorical – don’t answer it)
