Do you have what it takes to be a Navy SEAL? Let’s be honest, the correct answer is; “Probably not”. Becoming one of these machine men is not just a matter of being ridiculously physically fit, as according to SEAL instructors, the challenge of training to become a member is ninety percent mental.
We can’t all be Yoda right? And what’s the point in having a special team of elite war gurus if any dude who rocks up and has a go, gets in? All SEALs must go through the 24 week Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL School and then a 28 week SEAL qualification training program. But that isn’t the end of the training.
The cold hard statistics are that only about one percent of all those guys who even meet the strict qualifying criteria, and therefore are able begin their Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training, end up finishing it. After all of that is said and done however, it still doesn’t mean that the whole of this one percent will progress on to becoming a fully-fledged Navy SEAL.
