Sure, it might be something that happens to the best of us but you know what? It’s still not acceptable for adults to spill food or drink on themselves. The fact that it’s hot enough to burn you merely makes it physically painful as well as embarrassing. Now, you have to go through the whole day knowing that the first thought that goes through the minds of those you encounter is “What a clumsy fool. Sucks to be you!”

Well yeah, you could duck to the store and get a replacement shirt for the day. But what’s potentially even worse is the realization that you don’t have any coffee when you get up in the morning. Never was there a story of a good day that didn’t start with coffee.

…And they’re asking to speak to you! This can’t be good. Either you’re a really irresponsible and forgetful drunk, or someone you know has been charged with a crime or in an accident. This is a part of the worst day possible.
